Avondale Water Testing on a Set Arrival Window
We visit your home, test the water right at your tap and explain what each reading means. It costs nothing and you owe nothing after. We give you a set arrival window, and if we fall behind, you hear from us before you have to wonder.

What a Water Test Tells You
A water test is the first step before anyone talks about equipment. It shows how hard your water is, how much dissolved mineral it carries, and whether chlorine or other things are behind the taste or smell you notice. Without those numbers, picking a filter or softener is a guess.
Hard water is common across the West Valley, but the level still varies from one home to the next. We test yours so the answer fits your house, not the neighborhood average.
Sometimes the result is that you need nothing. When that happens, we say so and pack up.
What We Check During the Visit
- Hardness
- We measure the calcium and magnesium coming out of your tap. That reading tells us if a water softener makes sense for your home, and what size would handle the load.
- Total dissolved solids
- TDS is the overall amount of mineral and salt riding along in the water. A high reading is a good hint that reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink would change how your drinking water tastes.
- Chlorine
- The city adds chlorine to keep water safe on its way to you. Some people notice it a lot, some barely at all. We read the level so you can decide whether whole-home filtration is worth it.
- pH and iron
- We check pH and look for iron. Both can show up as stains, odd taste or wear on fixtures.
- A plain explanation
- We sit down with you and go through each reading. You see the results yourself, and we point out which ones are normal and which ones aren't.
When Your Water Is Worth Testing
Crust around faucets
The chalky ring on faucets and showerheads is mineral left as water dries. Testing shows how much is getting through.
Spotty glasses and shower doors
Hazy glasses from the dishwasher and marks on shower glass usually mean hard water.
Tap water that smells like a pool
Plenty of people start buying cases of bottled water because the tap tastes wrong. We track down the cause and which filter, if any, would fix it.
A new house
The water is unfamiliar, and so is the shape of the previous owner's system. A test gives you a baseline.
A softener that seems off
If crust and spots returned with a softener still in the garage, a fast hardness reading shows whether it is working.
Dry skin and scratchy laundry
Soap rinses out poorly in hard water. People mention it often, and it is simple to test.
How the Test Works, Start to Finish
- 1
Set a time by phone
You tell us what days work. We give you an arrival window, not a whole day, and we note what you've been seeing with your water.
- 2
We keep you updated
If a job before yours runs long, we let you know as soon as we know. You won't be left sitting by the door.
- 3
Testing at your tap
We draw water from your kitchen faucet and run the tests right there. Most visits take well under an hour, and we don't need to move furniture or shut off your water.
- 4
Results and options
We explain the numbers and tell you what, if anything, makes sense. If a system fits, we give you installed pricing by phone or on the spot so you can think it over.

How a System Gets Priced If You Want One
The test is free, and you are not bound to anything afterward. When the results suggest equipment, a few things set the price. Our water treatment systems include installation, so our quote already covers the labor.
- What the readings show
- High hardness or TDS may call for a larger softener or another setup. Your numbers decide the size, not a brochure.
- Your household's water use
- Extra bathrooms and people mean more taps open at once. The system needs to keep pace without your shower pressure sagging.
- The system you choose
- Whole-home filtration, a softener and reverse osmosis each solve something different. One may be enough, or two may work together.
- The install location
- Systems usually go where the main line enters, often by the garage. Cramped spots or added fittings increase the work, and we flag that before you say yes.
Water Testing Questions
Something not covered here? (480) 689-4985
Do I have to buy anything after the test?
No. The visit costs nothing and comes with zero obligation. We go over your readings with you, and installed pricing is there if you ask for it. The decision stays yours.
How long does the visit take?
Most tests take well under an hour, including time to go over the results. Plan on a short visit, not a half day.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, someone over 18 should be there. We test at an inside tap and want to walk you through the numbers in person.
What if you're running late?
We'll let you know before the window starts, not after it ends. If the new time doesn't work for you, we set another one.
Will you tell me if my water is fine?
Yes. Plenty of tests end with us saying your water doesn't need a system, or that a simple fix like reverse osmosis for drinking water is all that makes sense. We would rather you buy nothing than buy the wrong thing.
