Reverse Osmosis in Avondale, Installed on a Day You Pick
We mount a reverse osmosis unit in the cabinet below your kitchen faucet. That gives you cleaner-tasting water for glasses, pots and the coffee maker. We test first, quote the installed price by phone and set an arrival window you can plan your day around.

How an RO Unit Cleans the Water You Drink
Inside the unit, your own water pressure forces tap water across a membrane with openings far too small for most dissolved minerals and salts to pass. Those get flushed away to the drain. The clean water collects and runs to a small faucet by your sink, ready for drinking, cooking and the coffee maker.
RO only serves the one faucet it feeds. Showers, laundry and the other taps keep getting the same water as before. For better water everywhere, look at whole-home filtration. Plenty of homes pair the two: a whole-home system or water softener protecting pipes and fixtures, and RO for drinking.
We start with a water test so you know what you are treating. The free water test comes with zero obligation, and if RO is not the right fit, we will tell you that.
What Your RO Install Includes
- Prefilters and membrane
- Two stages sit ahead of the membrane. A sediment cartridge traps grit and sand, and a carbon cartridge pulls out chlorine, which would otherwise break down the membrane early.
- Dedicated drinking faucet
- We mount a separate faucet on your sink or counter. If there is an open sprayer hole, we use it. If not, we drill one and tell you first.
- Storage tank or tankless unit
- A tank system stores filtered water under the sink. A tankless unit makes water on demand and needs an outlet nearby. We check your cabinet space before you choose.
- Supply valve and drain line
- We add a small valve on the cold supply under the sink, so the unit can be shut off on its own without killing water to the kitchen. The reject water gets its own line into the sink drain. We run water through every joint and watch for drips before we call the job done.
- Optional fridge line
- If your refrigerator has a water dispenser or ice maker, we can run a line from the RO so it gets the same water.
- Install with the system
- Install is included with water treatment systems. The price we give you covers the work, not just the box.
Signs Reverse Osmosis Is Worth a Look
Cases of bottled water in the garage
If you keep restocking water from the store, an RO faucet replaces that trip. No more lugging cases in from the car.
White crust on the kettle and coffee maker
That scale is dissolved minerals left behind as water heats. RO removes most of it from your drinking water.
Tap water tastes flat or chlorinated
Some people just do not like the taste. The carbon stage and membrane together take care of most taste and odor complaints.
Cloudy ice and spotty glasses
Ice made from mineral-heavy water often comes out cloudy. RO water makes clearer cubes.
A test shows high dissolved solids
If your water test comes back high on total dissolved solids, RO is one of the most direct ways to bring that number down at the tap.
How Your RO Install Day Goes
- 1
Test and talk it through
We test your water and look at your sink cabinet. You get installed system pricing by phone, with the faucet, tank and any add-ons named.
- 2
Set an arrival window
We pick a day and a window that works for you. If a job ahead of yours runs long, we call you as soon as we know, not after the window closes.
- 3
Install under the sink
We shut off the cold water, clear the cabinet, mount the unit and make the connections. Most installs take a few hours, depending on the counter and any fridge line.
- 4
Flush and check
A new membrane needs a flush before you drink from it. We run it, check every fitting for drips and wipe out the cabinet.
- 5
Walk you through upkeep
We show you where the filters are and how to tell when they need changing. You know what to expect before we pack up.

What Shapes the Cost of an RO System
Every kitchen is different, so we quote after we've checked your water and looked under your sink. A few things drive most of the price. You hear the full installed number by phone before anything is booked.
- Tank or tankless
- A unit with a tank is the more basic install. Tankless units take less room and filter water on demand, but they need power under the sink.
- What your counter is made of
- Laminate and stainless are quick to drill. Granite and quartz take a special bit and extra time.
- Extra water lines
- Running a line to the fridge or ice maker adds parts and labor, more so if the fridge is across the kitchen.
- Water pressure and add-ons
- Low pressure can call for a booster or permeate pump. Some people also choose a remineralization stage to improve taste.
Reverse Osmosis Questions We Hear
Something not covered here? (480) 689-4985
Does an RO system waste water?
Yes, some. The membrane rinses itself by sending a share of water down the drain. Newer systems and pumps cut that down, and we can go over the options when we quote.
Will it fit under my sink with the garbage disposal?
Usually, yes. We look at the cabinet during the water test. If space is tight, a slimmer tank or a tankless unit often solves it.
Do I need a softener before RO?
Not always. Hard water does wear the membrane faster, so if your test shows a lot of hardness, a water softener ahead of it can help. We tell you what the test shows and let you decide.
When do the cartridges get swapped out?
The prefilters wear out first, usually well before the membrane. How fast depends on your daily use and what the test found in your water. We show you how to spot the signs, and you can call us when you are due.
What happens if you are running late on install day?
We call you. You will not be left waiting at the door wondering. If the day has to move, we set a new window with you on the same call.
